Molly Ringwald needs a new agent, and I think it’s time for me to cancel Netflix. I thought the Adam Sandler movies on the platform were bad, but this is as close to unwatchable as it gets.

A teen rom-com that carefully takes all the worst tropes of the genre and stitches them together. I can’t remember seeing anything quite so charmless, lazy and misogynistic.

The worst part is, they made a second one, and I sat through that¹ too.
