Well I am possibly the only person to have seen The Meg twice1.
I clicked it by mistake on my DVD rental service (yes, I live in 2005) - imagine my delight when it showed up in the post! It felt wrong just to send it back unwatched though.
Still not much cop, but not awful. We noticed this time how genuinely agile Jason Statham seems to be in the water - sure enough it turns out he was a diver in the Commonwealth Games in 1990. Funny how real skills on screen can stand out against movie magic fakery.
