Rushmore

I love that Dirk Calloway is the smartest person in this film.

A beautiful tale of love, loss and loving through loss. I never felt the pain everyone in Rushmore feels until watching it this time around. Perhaps I’m getting old.

Only Wes Anderson’s second film, but already his sense of humour, warmth and attention to detail are at the fore.
