The backstory of the various players involved in a heist, along with the build-up to the event itself.
Making a non-linear story based around a central event is an easy idea to throw about but a difficult one to pull off. 7 Minutes is a good example of how this concept can fail.
Martin puts his boring characters in a boring screenplay that jumps all over the place for no reason. He seems to be aiming for some sort of Tarantino effect but the writing, acting and direction isn’t there.
There’s no reason for anyone to watch this.
